Safety & Security
Safety is a top priority for Victoria Park. Our Safety & Security Committee works closely with:
- LAPD Senior Lead Officers
- City Council District staff
- Neighborhood block captains
- Local safety partners
This section will include:
- Ongoing safety updates
- Street lighting and infrastructure status
- Gate, access, and emergency coordination updates
- LAPD and community safety resources
For non-urgent issues: Contact 311 to file a report with the city.
For suspicious activity or real-time emergencies: Call 911 if you witness:
- Trespassing (e.g., someone climbing a fence into a neighbor’s yard)
- Active crimes in progress
- Immediate safety risks
📌 Residents are encouraged to stay informed and report issues promptly using appropriate channels.
How to Use 311 (City Services)
311 is the City of Los Angeles’ primary system for reporting non-emergency issues.
Use 311 to report:
- Street lighting outages
- Illegal dumping
- Graffiti
- Palm frond or bulky item pickup
- Sidewalk or street hazards
How to Submit a Request:
- Visit https://myla311.lacity.org
- Use the MyLA311 app (iOS & Android)
- Call 3-1-1 from within Los Angeles
💡 Tip Be as specific as possible when submitting a request and save your Service Request (SR) number for follow-up and share with our Communications team if items are not resolved in a timely fashion.
